New features of the website include a main slider on the Home Page which will showcase HFT’s latest video and Special “not-to-be-missed” Events.

Also on the Home Page, we’ve included a nifty calendar where you can see where HOT FOR TEACHER is playing next.  By clicking on the Show date, you can get all the details which include an integrated Google map to the venue and a link to pre-sale tickets (when available).  The Shows Page will also give you the ability to leave a comment about the show.  So, let us know if you’re coming or what you thought of the performance after the show.

With the popularity of YouTube at an all-time high, we have decided to use YoutTube exclusively on the new website.  Over time, new videos will be added to the site and included in News Pages and even in some of the Show Pages!

HOT FOR TEACHER just did their first shows on the East Coast for a slew of hungry Van Halen fans. First on 6/24 in Virginia Beach HFT headlined Sandstock for over 3,000 scantily clad, beach goers.

Then on 6/25 HFT opened for classic rocker Eddie Money in Greensboro, NC for over 3,000 again.

While in Greensboro Rockin’ Randy stopped by the F.W.Woolworth’s Store that became famous in 1960 when 3 African American men demanded to be served at the cafe soda counter signaling the beginning of America’s Civil Rights Movement.

Jude was honored to be the first ever electric guitarist to appear at the festival, and also to perform, with Fisk, a brand new arrangement of the Italian traditional “Tarentella,” arranged by Northeastern Music Department Chair Anthony P. De Ritis.

Jude’s repertoire included everything from “Bach to Rock.” Watch a video of him performing his solo electric guitar arrangement of the Carolina Liar song “Beautiful World” at the festival here.

tidbit: The New England Conservatory also happens to be HOT FOR TEACHER bassist Jesse Scott’s Alma Mater.
