HOT FOR TEACHER, originally formed by vocalist Randy Monroe in Walnut Creek during the Fall of 1999 will be back in “da Creek” on Friday April 4, 2008 at Betty’s Rock Bar. It’ll be the first time HFT has performed since the September 2005 Hurric-Aid Benefit that sold out in 2 hours and raised over $45,000.00 for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Though HFT made a big fund-raising impact, the majority of monies flowed from the audience there to see “Rock Superstars” Night Ranger, Y&T, Tesla, and Eric Martin.
“Its great when a bunch of friends and acquaintances can get together, make some music, party a bit, have some fun and raise money for such a tremendous and important cause.”, says Randy.
Speaking of friends, Super-Hotties and Go-Go’s Tribute Band, Beauty and the Beat will be making their performance debut opening the show. Brad Gillis will make a cameo performance for a 3-song set!
CC Rocks, Metal Matt will also be on hand shooting and interviewing HFT as their feature for the upcoming CC Rocks April Show.
Hope to see everyone out at the show!
