Pick 6 Sports Bar and Lounge – formerly Maverick’s.

Please join us for the 13th Annual Halloween Bash – A Benefit for the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

This is a party with a purpose!

A celebration of life. The theme is “Time Warp”. Interpret as you will. Expect the unexpected. Plus, live rockin’ bands HOT FOR TEACHER and Stung (A Tribute to The Police), plus flowing cocktails.

The Plan:
Raise money to fight Neurofibromatosis. You can participate whether you choose to attend the party or not… we don’t discriminate! Register to fundraise as an individual, or start or join a team by selecting one of the blue buttons on the right. Individually, if you raise $100, you gain entry to the party. If you raise $500, you drink for free all night long. Each team that raises over $2000 gets VIP seating at the Bash. We have trophies for the top 3 teams… its a matter of pride.

The Purpose:
13 years ago, our daughter, Camille, was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (Neuro – fibroma – tosis).

At the age of 7, she had a brain tumor the size of tangerine identified and removed. Scary day! Since then, Camille has been living with NF2. It has robbed her of her hearing in one ear and her eyesight in one eye. It has the potential to affect her mobility as we monitor the tumors that run up her spine and throughout her body. To put it gently, NF2 sucks. Camille just had ear/brain surgery in July to remove another nasty bugger.

So, for the last 13 years, we have been doing this fundraiser to fund research to slow or stop the tumors from growing.  With your help, we have funded research for natural supplements and drug trials that show promise to getting us to our goal: Quality of life for Camille and others with NF2.

We have partnered with Children’s Tumor Foundation to help us achieve our goal. They have committed $3 million to Synodos, a collaboration of the top minds in the study of NF2 and it’s our best shot.  We need your help to push this research further. Thanks for your support. This problem gets solved in Camille’s lifetime… we just want it solved soon.

P.S. We couldn’t be more proud of Camille. She is a sophomore at University of Utah. Go Utes!
