HOT FOR TEACHER who is endorsed by Nady Systems Inc. started the 2008 year off  “on a good foot!” Playing his first gig as the new HFT guitarist, Jude Gold and the boys “blew the roof off” of the Hilton at the NAMM Show this past Friday night.  The capacity crowd was both “shocked” & “awed” by the amazing talent of the band’s musicians. Beginning the show with side one of the album, Van Halen 1, the crowd stood completely amazed with jaws wide open. HFT then invited up friend and “Rock God” Pat Travers who threw down a blazing rendition of Cream’s Born Under A Bad Sign. The NAMM officials were so impressed, HFT was immediately asked back to perform for NAMM 2009. On Saturday, HOT FOR TEACHER showcased for an encore performance inside of the NAMM Convention on the big patio stage, comprised largely of industry personas who were absolutely enthusiastic – clapping, singing, dancing and partying along with HOT FOR TEACHER’s renditions of the sounds created by the “Mighty David Lee Roth era Van Halen”.

“What a blast we have had at this years NAMM”, says Randy.

“I wasn’t sure about how everybody associated with the industry would react and receive us being a Van Halen tribute ’cause dems sum mighty big shoes, …but the feedback was positive and gracious by ALL! They do like their Van Halen in SoCal.”
